And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
