▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
