People of Hijr rejected the Messengers. 80 We sent them Our Signs, but they persisted in turning away from them. 81 And they hewed houses in the mountains in security. 82 But As-Saihah (torment - awful cry etc.) overtook them in the early morning (of the fourth day of their promised punishment days). 83 And what they earned did not avail them. 84 And We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, except with the Truth; and indeed the Last Day will come, therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), forbear graciously. 85 Your Lord is the Creator, the Knower. 86 We have indeed given you the seven oft-repeated (examples), and the majestic Qur'an. 87 Stretch not thine eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy; and do not sorrow for them, and lower thy wing unto the believers, 88 And say: "I am indeed a plain warner." 89 (We have given you the Quran) as We had given (the Bible) to those who divided themselves into groups 90 who have broken the Koran into fragments. 91 But, by thy Sustainer! [On the Day of Judgment] We shall indeed call them to account, one and all, 92 As to what they did. 93 So declare to them what We have enjoined, and turn away from idolaters. 94 We will, surely, suffice you against those who mock, 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 Well know We that thy bosom is oppressed by what they say, 97 Therefore proclaim the Purity of your Lord with praise, and be of those who prostrate. 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
