Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Say: 'I take refuge with the Lord of Daybreak 1 from the evil of what He has created, 2 And from the evil of the utterly dark night when it comes, 3 from the evil of those who blow on knots 4 “And from the evil of the envier when he is envious of me.” 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
