And indeed this Qur’an has been sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 192 With it came down the spirit of Faith and Truth- 193 upon thy heart, [O Muhammad] so that thou mayest be among those who preach 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 (a revelation embodied) in the scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a sign to them that the learned men of the Israelites know it? 197 If We had revealed it to a nonArab, 198 And he had read it unto them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it (the denial of the Quran) to enter the hearts of the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.). 200 They will not believe therein until they behold the torment afflictive. 201 It will come upon them suddenly when they are not expecting it. 202 they say: "Can we be granted some respite?" 203 So do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Hast thou then seen, if We content them for (long) years, 205 and then Our torment will strike them, 206 It will profit them not that they enjoyed (this life)! 207 And never did We destroy a township which did not have Heralds of warning, – 208 We have never been unjust to anyone. 209 The satans did not bring down this (Clear Book), 210 It is not meet for them, nor is it in their power, 211 Verily far from hearing are they removed. 212 So call thou not upon another god with God, lest thou shouldst be one of those that are chastised. 213 And warn your tribe (O Muhammad SAW) of near kindred. 214 And lower your wing to those who follow you of the believers. 215 Then if they disobey you, say: "I am innocent of what you do." 216 And put thy trust in the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 who sees you when you stand up [for prayer], 218 and when you turn among those who prostrate themselves. 219 He is all-hearing and all-knowing. 220 Shall I inform you (of him) upon whom the Shaitans descend? 221 They come down to every mendacious sinner, 222 They incline their ears, and most of them are liars. 223 Only the erring people follow the poets. 224 Do you not see how they wander aimlessly in every valley, 225 And that they say that which they do not? 226 [Most of them are of this kind] save those who have attained to faith, and do righteous deeds, and remember God unceasingly, and defend themselves [only] after having been wronged, and [trust in God's promise that] those who are bent on wrongdoing will in time come to know how evil a turn their destinies are bound to take! 227
