The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
