No, by the moon! 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 a warning to humankind, 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 except the Companions of the Right. 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 From the guilty. 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 we fed not the needy, 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 And so, of no benefit to them could be the intercession of any that would intercede for them. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
