We built the heaven with might, and We widely extended it. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 What! Have they willed this utterance to one another? In fact they are a rebellious people. 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
