Indeed this is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe; 192 It has been revealed through the trustworthy Spirit 193 upon your heart (Prophet Muhammad), in order to be one of the warners, 194 in the clear Arabic tongue. 195 And verily, it (the Quran, and its revelation to Prophet Muhammad SAW) is (announced) in the Scriptures [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] of former people. 196 And has it not been a sign to them that it is recognized by the scholars of the Children of Israel? 197 Had We revealed it to a non-Arab 198 In order that he read it to them, even then they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it (the denial of the Quran) to enter the hearts of the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.). 200 they will not believe in it till they behold the grievous suffering 201 So it will come upon them suddenly, whilst they will be unaware. 202 Then they will exclaim, "Could we have some respite?" 203 Do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Have you then considered if We let them enjoy themselves for years, 205 And then what they were promised comes upon them, 206 What shall that which they enjoyed avail them? 207 And We did not destroy any town but it had (its) warners, 208 To remind, and We are never unjust. 209 And [this divine writ is such a reminder:] no evil spirits have brought it down: 210 They are not worthy of it, nor have they power. 211 Verily far from hearing are they removed. 212 So do not call upon another god with Allah, lest you should be one of those who are punished. 213 And warn thy clan, thy nearest kin. 214 and spread the wings of thy tenderness over all of the believers who may follow thee; 215 Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!" 216 Put thy trust in the All-mighty, the All-compassionate 217 Who seeth thee standing forth (in prayer), 218 and [sees] thy behaviour among those who prostrate themselves [before Him]: 219 He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you, (O people!), on whom it is that the evil ones descend? 221 They descend on every guilty impostor. 222 They give ear, but most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets, the erring follow them, 224 Hast thou not seen how they stray in every valley, 225 and say things which they do not act upon, 226 Save those that believe, and do righteous deeds, and remember God oft, and help themselves after being wronged; and those who do wrong shall surely know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
