Hizb 46

So also was Jonah among those sent (by Us). 139 He fled to the overloaded ship. 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers, 141 So the whale swallowed him, for he was blameworthy, 142 And had he not been of those who exalt Allah, 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ but We cast him upon the wilderness, and he was sick, 145 We made a plant of gourd grow up for him. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (people) or even more. 147 and they believed. So We let them enjoy life for a while. 148 Now, ask them, has your Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 Or that have We created the angels as females, while they were present? 150 Lo! verily it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 " Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What is the matter with you that you make such strange judgements? 154 “So do you not ponder?” 155 Or have you, perchance, a clear evidence [for your assertions]? 156 Bring your book if what you say is true. 157 And they imagine kinship between him and the jinn, whereas the jinn know well that they will be brought before (Him). 158 God is too glorious to be described as they describe Him 159 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 160 So neither you nor those you worship 161 Cannot lead astray [turn away from Him (Allah) anyone of the believers], 162 Save him who is to burn in hell. 163 Of us there is none but hath a station assigned. 164 we are those who stand ranged in ranks. 165 and, verily, we too extol His limitless glory!" 166 And indeed they (Arab pagans) used to say; 167 "Had we received guidance from the people living before us, 168 we would certainly be true servants of God." 169 They therefore denied it, so they will soon come to know. 170 We have already given Our promise to Our Messengers 171 [That] indeed, they would be those given victory 172 and that Our army will be triumphant. 173 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them for a while, 174 and watch them. They, too, will watch. 175 Do they wish (indeed) to hurry on our Punishment? 176 But when it descends into the open space before them, evil will be the morning for those who were warned (and heeded not)! 177 So turn (away) from them for a while, 178 and see [them for what they are]; and in time they [too] will come to see [what they do not see now]. 179 Glory be to your Lord: the Lord of Glory is far above what they attribute to Him. 180 Peace be on the Messengers. 181 And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
