The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the crash? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 A burning fire. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
