Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, -- 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 On a straight path. 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. 12
