Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
