The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth! 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 they have indeed rejected the message. But the truth of what they laughed to scorn will dawn upon them before long. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 And indeed your Lord – indeed only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
