The People of the Woods denied the Noble Messengers. 176 Shu'aib said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 177 I am for you an honest Messenger. 178 So fear Allah, and obey me. 179 And I ask of you no hire therefor; and my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure and do not be of those who cause loss. 181 “And weigh with a proper balance.” 182 Wrong not mankind in their goods, and do not evil, making mischief, in the earth. 183 and have fear of Him Who created you and the earlier generations." 184 Said they: "Thou art but one of the bewitched, 185 "Thou art no more than a mortal like us, and indeed we think thou art a liar! 186 Drop down on us lumps from heaven, if you are one of the truthful' 187 He said: My Lord knows best what you do. 188 Then they branded him a liar, whereupon the chastisement of the Day of Canopy overtook them. It was the chastisement of a very awesome day. 189 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 190 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 191
