The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 It is the fire kindled by God 6 Reaching right into the hearts of men, 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 in outstretched columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
