۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
