And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
