Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed? 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 and has caused its waters to come out of it, and its pastures, 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 On that day man will recall all what he strove for. 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
