Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are you a more difficult creation or is the heaven? Allah constructed it. 27 He raised the height thereof and ordered it; 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 AND SO, when the great overwhelming event [of resurrection] comes to pass 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 The disbelievers ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
