In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Read with the name of your Lord Who created, 1 created the human from a (blood) clot. 2 Recite! Your Lord is the most Honorable One, 3 Who taught by the pen, 4 Teacheth man that which he knew not. 5 No! [But] indeed, man transgresses 6 for he believes himself to be self-sufficient. 7 Surely unto thy Lord is the Returning. 8 HAST THOU ever considered him who tries to prevent 9 A bondman when he offers the prayer? 10 What will happen if the praying person is rightly guided 11 or orders piety? 12 Bethinkest thou, if he belieth and turneth away? 13 Knoweth he not that Allah doth see? 14 Yes certainly, if he does not desist, We will seize him by the forelock. 15 By the lying, the sinful forelock. 16 So let him summon his helpmates; 17 We shall summon the guards of Hell. 18 No, indeed; do not obey him! Prostrate and come nearer (to Allah). ۩ 19
