Al-Saaffaat 3 of 5
And indeed, [it was for this reason that] Noah cried unto Us - and how excellent was Our response: 75 And We delivered him and his people from the Great Calamity, 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 and left for him among the later folk 78 "Peace upon Noah among the worlds." 79 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 80 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 81 Then We drowned the others. 82 ۞ Abraham was one of his followers. 83 Recall what time he came unto his Lord with a heart whole. 84 when he said to his father and his folk, 'What do you serve? 85 Is it false deities that you want to serve rather than Allah? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the whole Universe?” 87 Then he looked up at the stars (they worshipped), 88 And he said: "Verily, I am sick (with plague. He did this trick to remain in their temple of idols to destroy them and not to accompany them to the pagan's feast)." 89 So they departed from him turning their backs. 90 Then he turned aside to their gods secretly and said: What! do you not eat? 91 "What is the matter with you that you speak not?" 92 Then he slipped unto them striking them with the right hand. 93 Thereupon the people came running to him. 94 Abraham said to them: “Do you worship what you yourselves have carved with your own hands 95 even though God created both you and that which you have made?" 96 They said, 'Build him a building, and cast him into the furnace!' 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 And he said (after his rescue from the fire): "Verily, I am going to my Lord. He will guide me!" 99 My Lord! Vouchsafe me of the righteous. 100 (In response to this prayer) We gave him the good news of a prudent boy; 101 When he was old enough to go about with him, he said: "O my son, I dreamt that I was sacrificing you. Consider, what you think?" He replied: "Father, do as you are commanded. If God pleases you will find me firm." 102 When they had surrendered, and he flung him upon his brow, 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 "Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 105 for, behold, all this was indeed a trial, clear in itself. 106 We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice 107 And We perpetuated (praise) to him among the later generations. 108 Peace be upon Ibrahim! 109 This is how We reward the virtuous. 110 He was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac, a Prophet and among the righteous ones. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac, and from their offspring are some gooddoers, and others who clearly wronged themselves. 113

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
