This, (Quran), is certainly the revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 192 The Trustworthy Spirit has brought it down 193 Upon your heart that you may be of the warners 194 in clear Arabic speech. 195 And verily, [the essence of] this [revelation] is indeed found in the ancient books of divine wisdom [as well]. 196 Is it not a sign unto them that the learned among the Children of Isra'il know it? 197 Had We revealed it to any of the non-Arabs, 198 So that he should have recited it to them, they would not have believed therein. 199 Thus have We inserted disbelief into the hearts of the criminals. 200 They will not believe in it until they suffer the painful torment. 201 It will come upon them unawares, and they will not comprehend it. 202 and then they will exclaim, "Could we have a respite?" 203 Do they really want Our chastisement to be expedited? 204 Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years 205 and then what they were promised comes to them, 206 All that with which they used to enjoy shall not avail them. 207 And withal, never have We destroyed any community unless it had been warned 208 to admonish them. We have never been unjust. 209 The satans have not revealed the Quran; 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed. 212 So call not upon another god with Allah, lest you be of those who are punished. 213 Warn your nearest kinsmen, 214 and extend kindness and affection to those of the believers who follow you. 215 And if they disobey you, then say, "Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing." 216 And rely thou upon the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 Who sees you when you stand up. 218 And thy movements among those who fall prostrate. 219 Surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the satans descend? 221 They descend on every lying (one who tells lies), sinful person. 222 Who gives ear (to the devils and they pour what they may have heard of the unseen from the angels), and most of them are liars. 223 And the poets -- the perverse follow them; 224 Do you not see that in every valley they roam 225 And that they say that which they do not do, 226 Except those who believe and do good and remember Allah much, and defend themselves after they are oppressed; and they who act unjustly shall know to what final place of turning they shall turn back. 227
Almighty Allah's Truth.
