Messengers! Eat of that which is good and do good deeds; I have knowledge of the things you do. 51 And lo! this your religion is one religion and I am your Lord, so keep your duty unto Me. 52 But they cut off their religion among themselves into sects, each part rejoicing in that which is with them. 53 Leave them in their perplexity for a time. 54 Do they think that by what We aid them with of wealth and children, 55 We are busy lavishing on them all kinds of good? Nay, they do not perceive the reality of the matter. 56 Surely those who stand in awe for fear of their Lord, 57 Those who believe in the Signs of their Lord; 58 who consider nothing equal to their Lord, 59 and those who give to others what has been bestowed upon them with their hearts trembling at the thought that they must return to their Lord; 60 It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein. 61 And [withal.] We do not burden any human being with more than he is well able to bear: for with Us is a record that speaks the truth [about what men do and can do]; and none shall be wronged. 62 NAY, [as for those who have torn asunder the unity of faith] - their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this! But apart from that [breach of unity] they have [on their conscience even worse] deeds; and they will [continue to] commit them 63 But when We seize with the punishment those of them that live in ease, they groan. 64 We shall tell them, "Do not cry for help on this day; you will receive none from Us". 65 My revelations were recited to you, but you turned your backs 66 in arrogance, as if you were abandoning a story-teller. 67 Have they not pondered the matter, or did that come to them, which did not come to their forefathers? 68 Or is it that they did not recognize their Messenger (Muhammad SAW) so they deny him? 69 Or do they say, "He is possessed"? Nay, he has brought them the Truth, but most of them hate the Truth. 70 Were the Truth to follow their desires, the order of the heavens and the earth and those who dwell in them would have been ruined. Nay, the fact is that We have brought to them their own remembrance; and yet it is from their own remembrance that they are turning away. 71 Or do you ask of them any tribute? In that case the tribute of your Lord is better, for He is the best of providers. 72 (Muhammad), you certainly have called them to the right path, 73 But those who do not believe in the Hereafter have indeed deviated from that path. 74 ۞ Even if We showed them mercy and relieved them of their afflictions, they would still persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 (They are such) that We seized them with chastisement (and yet) they did not humble themselves before their Lord, nor do they entreat 76 So that when at last We open up the gate of severe punishment on them they will be overwhelmed with despair. 77
