And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 [So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for] a cool bath and drink." 42 And We granted to him his family and also the like of them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to people of understanding, 43 and, 'Take in thy hand a bundle of rushes, and strike therewith, and do not fail in thy oath.' Surely We found him a steadfast man. How excellent a servant he was! He was a penitent. 44 Remember Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- possessors of strength and vision. 45 Lo! We purified them with a pure thought, remembrance of the Home (of the Hereafter). 46 And verily they are with us of the elect of the excellent ones. 47 And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best. 48 This is an admonition, and verily for the God-fearing is a happy retreat: 49 Everlasting Gardens – all its gates are open for them. 50 Therein will they recline (at ease): Therein can they call (at pleasure) for fruit in abundance, and (delicious) drink; 51 ۞ And with them are the pure spouses, who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, of single age. 52 This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Indeed, this is Our provision; for it there is no depletion. 54 Yea, such! but - for the wrong-doers will be an evil place of (Final) Return!- 55 They shall roast in (the Fire) of Gehenna, an evil cradling. 56 This (shall be so); so let them taste it, boiling and intensely cold (drink). 57 And other (torment) of the kind in pairs (the two extremes)! 58 This is an army plunging in without consideration along with you; no welcome for them, surely they shall enter fire. 59 They will say, "Nor you! No welcome for you. You, [our leaders], brought this upon us, and wretched is the settlement." 60 They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!" 61 But why is it that we cannot see men whom we had considered as wicked 62 "Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Indeed this is really true – the people of the hell quarrelling among themselves. 64
