Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent Noah to his people. He told them, "Worship God for He is your only Lord. I am afraid of the punishment that you might suffer on the great Day (of Judgment)". 59 But the assembly of his nation said: 'We can see that you are in clear error.' 60 He said: 'O my people! There is no error in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the universe. 61 “Conveying to you the messages of my Lord and wishing good for you, and I know from Allah what you do not know.” 62 Why, do you deem it strange that a tiding from your Sustainer should have come unto you through a man from among yourselves, so that he might warn you, and that you might become conscious of God, and that you might be graced with His mercy?" 63 But they denied him, so We saved him and those who were with him in the ship. And We drowned those who denied Our signs. Indeed, they were a blind people. 64
