The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful 1

All praise unto Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. 2 The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful, 3 Sovereign of the Day of Requital. 4 You alone do we worship, and You alone do we turn for help 5 Guide us (O Lord) to the path that is straight, 6 The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
