When the caravan set out from Egypt, their father [in Canaan] said, "You may think I am senile, but I certainly perceive the breath of Joseph." 94 They said: "By Allah! truly thou art in thine old wandering mind." 95 But when the bearer of good tidings came to him, and laid it on his face, forthwith he saw once again. He said, 'Did I not tell you I know from God that you know not?' 96 They said, "O our father! Ask forgiveness for our sins -- we were truly in the wrong." 97 He said: "I shall ask my Sustainer to forgive you: He alone is truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace!" 98 When they all came to Joseph, he welcomed his parents and said, "Enter the town in peace, if God wants it to be so." 99 And he placed his parents on the dais and they fell down before him prostrate, and he said: O my father! This is the interpretation of my dream of old. My Lord hath made it true, and He hath shown me kindness, since He took me out of the prison and hath brought you from the desert after Satan had made strife between me and my brethren. Lo! my Lord is tender unto whom He will. He is the Knower, the Wise. 100 ۞ Lord, You have given me the kingdom and taught me to interpret visions. Originator of the heavens and the earth, my Guardian in this world and in the Everlasting Life. Let me die in submission (as a Muslim) and let me join the righteous' 101 This is of the news of the Ghaib (unseen) which We reveal by Inspiration to you (O Muhammad SAW). You were not (present) with them when they arranged their plan together, and (also, while) they were plotting. 102 Yet most men will not become believers, no matter how eager you may be. 103 Thou askest of them no wage for it; it is nothing but a reminder unto all beings. 104
