And when the caravan had departed, their father said: surely feel the smell of Yusuf, if ye think not that I am doting. 94 They said, “By Allah, you are still deeply engrossed in the same old love of yours.” 95 Then, when the bearer of the glad tidings arrived, he cast it (the shirt) over his face, and he became clear-sighted. He said: "Did I not say to you, 'I know from Allah that which you know not. 96 They said: O our father! ask forgiveness of our faults for us, surely we were sinners. 97 "I will ask my Lord to forgive you," he replied, "for He is forgiving and kind." 98 Then, when they entered unto Yusuf (Joseph), he betook his parents to himself and said: "Enter Egypt, if Allah wills, in security." 99 And he raised his parents to the highest place of honour; and they [all] fell down before Him, prostrating themselves in adoration. Thereupon [Joseph] said: "O my father! This is the real meaning of my dream of long ago, which my Sustainer has made come true. And He was indeed good to me when He freed me from the prison, and [when] He brought you [all unto me] from the desert after Satan had sown discord between me and my brothers. Verily, my Sustainer is unfathomable in [the way He brings about] whatever He wills: verily, He alone is all-knowing, truly wise! 100 ۞ My Lord! Thou hast given me of the kingdom and taught me of the interpretation of sayings: Originator of the heavens and the earth! Thou art my guardian in this world and the hereafter; make me die a muslim and join me with the good. 101 This is of the announcements relating to the unseen (which) We reveal to you, and you were not with them when they resolved upon their affair, and they were devising plans. 102 And most of the people, howsoever you might so desire, are not going to believe. 103 Thou askest of them no wage for it; it is nothing but a reminder unto all beings. 104
