۞ Did you not see those who exchanged the grace of Allah for ungratefulness and led their people down to the home of destruction? 28 hell - which they [themselves] will have to endure? And how vile a state to settle in! 29 For, they claimed that there are powers that could rival God, and so they strayed from His path. Say: "Enjoy yourselves [in this world,] but, verily, the fire will be your journey's end!" 30 Say to My servants who believe that they should keep up prayer and spend out of what We have given them secretly and openly before the coming of the day in which there shall be no bartering nor mutual befriending. 31 it is Allah who created the heavens and the earth, and sends down water from the heaven with which He brings forth fruits for your provision. He has subjected to you ships which, by His command, run upon the sea. He has subjected to you rivers, 32 And He has made the sun and the moon, both constantly pursuing their courses, to be of service to you; and He has made the night and the day, to be of service to you. 33 and Who gave you all that you asked Him for. Were you to count the favours of Allah you shall never be able to encompass them. Verily man is highly unjust, exceedingly ungrateful. 34
