Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 Indeed your Lord only will raise them all on the Day of Resurrection; indeed only He is Wise, All Knowing. 25
