We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
