Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 And We have guarded it from every Satan damned. 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 And the earth! We have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and We have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25
