We have created the human being out of pure mud-moulded clay 26 whereas the invisible beings We had created, [long] before that, out of the fire of scorching winds. 27 When your Lord said to the angels, "I will create the human being out of pure mud-moulded clay. 28 When I have shaped him and ran My created soul in him fall down prostrating towards him'. 29 then the angels all prostrated themselves together. 30 Except Iblis (Satan); he refused to be among those who prostrated. 31 God asked him, "What is the matter with you, that you are not among those who have prostrated themselves?" 32 He said, "Never would I prostrate to a human whom You created out of clay from an altered black mud." 33 Said Allah, “Therefore exit from Paradise, for you are an outcast.” 34 “And indeed you are accursed till the Day of Judgement.” 35 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 36 He answered: 'You are among those reprieved 37 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 38 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "O my Lord! Because you misled me, I shall indeed adorn the path of error for them (mankind) on the earth, and I shall mislead them all. 39 excepting those Thy servants among them that are devoted. 40 [Allah] said, "This is a path [of return] to Me [that is] straight. 41 "For over My servants no authority shalt thou have, except such as put themselves in the wrong and follow thee." 42 And verily Hell is the place promised unto them all. 43 It hath seven gates, and each gate hath an appointed portion. 44
