But the godfearing shall be amidst gardens and fountains: 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 And that My punishment-- that is the painful punishment. 50 And tell them of Abraham's guests, 51 When they entered unto him, and said: Salaman (peace)! [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Indeed! We are afraid of you." 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 "We have given you the happy tidings of a truth," they replied. "So do not be one of those who despair." 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 He said, 'And what is your business, envoys?' 57 They said, "We are sent to a sinful people. 58 Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all 59 but his wife. We decreed that she should be amongst those who remain behind. 60
