Truly, the God-fearing shall dwell amid gardens and fountains -- 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 They said: Be not afraid! Lo! we bring thee good tidings of a boy possessing wisdom. 53 He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?" 54 They said, "We have given you the glad news for a true reason so do not despair". 55 He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They said: "Verily we have been sent to a guilty people 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
