And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers. 80 We also gave them Our Signs, yet they turned away from them. 81 They used to hew dwellings in the mountains to live in security. 82 and the Cry seized them in the morning; 83 So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn. 84 We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness. 85 For verily it is thy Lord who is the Master-Creator, knowing all things. 86 We have indeed given you the seven oft-repeated (examples), and the majestic Qur'an. 87 Do not stretch your eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy, nor sorrow for them, and lower your wing to the believers. 88 and say: "Behold, I am indeed the plain warner [promised by God]! 89 Such as We send down for those who make division, 90 who have broken the Koran into fragments. 91 By the Lord, We will hold them all responsible 92 about what they did. 93 Therefore publicly announce what you are commanded, and turn away from the polytheists. 94 Surely We will suffice you against the scoffers 95 who set up another god with God, but they shall soon learn. 96 Well know We that thy bosom is oppressed by what they say, 97 But hymn the praise of thy Lord, and be of those who make prostration (unto Him). 98 and worship your Lord until the last moment (of your life) that will most certainly come. 99
