And certainly did the companions of Thamud deny the messengers. 80 And We gave them Our Signs, but they were averse to them. 81 They hewed their dwellings out of the mountains in safety. 82 So the rumbling overtook them in the morning; 83 Then availed them not that which they had been earning. 84 And We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, except with the Truth; and indeed the Last Day will come, therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), forbear graciously. 85 Verify thy Lord! He is the Great Creator, the Knower. 86 And indeed We have given you seven verses that are repeated, and the great Qur’an. 87 Cast not thine eyes toward that which We have let classes of them to enjoy; and grieve not over them, and lower thy wing unto the believers. 88 Say, "Indeed, I am simply one who warns." 89 even as We had sent warning to those who had divided their religion into fragments; 90 Those who break the Qur'an into parts. 91 By the Lord, We will hold them all responsible 92 concerning what they have been doing. 93 So shout that thou art commanded and turn thou away from the idolaters. 94 Indeed We suffice you against these mockers. 95 Who set up along with Allah another god; presently they shall know. 96 We do indeed know how thy heart is distressed at what they say. 97 Proclaim thy Lord's praise, and be of those that bow, 98 And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty (i.e. death). 99
