And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers. 80 We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them. 81 And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure. 82 and the Cry seized them in the morning; 83 and of no avail to them was all [the power] that they had acquired. 84 AND [remember:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them without [an inner] truth; but, behold, the Hour [when this will become clear to all] is indeed yet to come. Hence, forgive [men's failings] with fair forbearance: 85 Your Lord is certainly the All-knowing Creator. 86 And indeed We have given you seven verses that are repeated, and the great Qur’an. 87 Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers 88 And say: "I am indeed he that warneth openly and without ambiguity,"- 89 (Of a punishment) Like the one We sent down upon the dividers. 90 Those who break the Qur'an into parts. 91 Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account, 92 about whatever they had been doing! 93 Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists. 94 verily, We shall suffice thee against all who [now] deride [this message - all] 95 Who make [equal] with Allah another deity. But they are going to know. 96 And assuredly We know that thou straitenest thy breast by that which they say. 97 Therefore proclaim the Purity of your Lord with praise, and be of those who prostrate. 98 Worship your Lord till the certainty (death) comes to you. 99
