The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Allah's commandment has come, therefore do not desire to hasten it; glory be to Him, and highly exalted be He above what they associate (with Him). 1 He doth send down His angels with inspiration of His Command, to such of His servants as He pleaseth, (saying): "Warn (Man) that there is no god but I: so do your duty unto Me." 2 He hath created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He Exalted above all that they associate (with Him). 3 He created man of a sperm-drop; and, behold, he is a manifest adversary. 4 And the cattle! He hath created them. For you in them there is warmth and other profits and of them ye eat. 5 how pleasant they look when you bring them home in the evenings and when you take them out to pasture in the mornings. 6 And they transport your loads to a town where you could not reach except utterly exhausted; indeed your Lord is Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. 7 And horses, and mules, and asses, for you to ride, and as an adornment; and He creates what you know not. 8 To God leads the right path, though some deviate. If He willed He could guide you all to the right way. 9
