He it is Who sends down water (rain) from the sky; from it you drink and from it (grows) the vegetation on which you send your cattle to pasture; 10 (With this water) He causes corn, olives, palm-trees, vines, and all kinds of fruits to grow. In this there is evidence (of the existence of God) for the people of understanding. 11 He has made the night and the day and the sun and the moon subservient to you; and all the stars are subservient to His command. Surely in this there are signs for men of understanding. 12 And whatsoever He has created for you on this earth of varying colours [and qualities from vegetation and fruits, etc. (botanical life) and from animal (zoological life)]. Verily! In this is a sign for people who remember. 13 It is He who has subjected the sea to you, so that you eat of its soft flesh and bring up from it ornaments which you wear. And you see the ships plowing their course through it in order that you seek His bounty and give thanks. 14 And He placed mountains as anchors in the earth so that it may not shake along with you, and streams and roads for you to find course. 15 and He has set other landmarks in the earth. And by the stars too do people find their way. 16 Is He then Who createth as him who createth not? Will ye not then remember? 17 And if you enumerate the favours of Allah, you will never be able to count them; indeed Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. 18 And Allah knows what you conceal and what you declare. 19 Those whom they invoke besides Allah create nothing and are themselves created. 20 They are not living but are dead. They can not know when they will be raised. 21
