۞ And Allah has proclaimed, “Do not ascribe two Gods; indeed He is the only One God; therefore fear Me alone.” 51 And to Him only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and in the earth, and obeying Him only is obligatory; so will you fear anyone other than Allah? 52 Whatever blessing you have is from God, and to Him you turn for help when distress befalls you, 53 Yet, when He removes the distress from you, behold! some of you turn to other gods to join with their Lord- 54 So that they be ungrateful for what We have given them; then enjoy yourselves; for soon will you know 55 And they assign a portion of that which We have given them unto what they know not. By Allah! but ye will indeed be asked concerning (all) that ye used to invent. 56 They assign daughters to Allah - glory be to Him - whereas they assign to themselves what they truly desire! 57 And when there is announced unto any of them a female his countenance remainoth darkened the whole day and he is wroth inwardly. 58 They try to hide themselves from the people because of the disgrace of such news. Will they keep their new born despite the disgrace or bury it alive? How sinful is their Judgment! 59 Those who do not believe in the Hereafter, for them only is the evil state; and the Majesty of Allah is Supreme; and He only is the Most Honourable, the Wise. 60
