Establish worship at the going down of the sun until the dark of night, and (the recital of) the Qur'an at dawn. Lo! (the recital of) the Qur'an at dawn is ever witnessed. 78 And forego sleep* in some part of the night – an increase for you**; it is likely your Lord will set you on a place where everyone will praise you***. (* For worship. ** Obligatory only upon the Holy Prophet. *** On the Day of Resurrection.) 79 Say, "Lord, grant me an honourable entrance and an honourable exit, and sustain me with Your power." 80 And say: "Truth has (now) arrived, and Falsehood perished: for Falsehood is (by its nature) bound to perish." 81 And We reveal of the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy for believers though it increase the evil-doers in naught save ruin. 82 for [it often happens that] when We bestow Our blessings upon man, he turns away and arrogantly keeps aloof [from any thought of Us]; and when evil fortune touches him, he abandons all hope. 83 Say, (O Prophet): "Each one acts according to his own manner. Your Lord knows well who is best-guided to the Right Path." 84
