And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period." 60 But when they came to the point where the two met, they forgot their fish, which made its way burrowing into the sea. 61 When they had passed on (some distance), Moses said to his attendant: "Bring us our early meal; truly we have suffered much fatigue at this (stage of) our journey." 62 He said:"Do you remember when we betook ourselves to the rock? I indeed forgot the fish, none but Shaitan (Satan) made me forget to remember it. It took its course into the sea in a strange (way)!" 63 'This is what we have been seeking' said he, and they retraced their footsteps 64 and found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed grace from Ourselves and unto whom We had imparted knowledge [issuing] from Ourselves. 65 Moses said to him: "May I follow thee, on the footing that thou teach me something of the (Higher) Truth which thou hast been taught?" 66 Said he, 'Assuredly thou wilt not be able to bear with me patiently. 67 For how can you patiently bear with something you cannot encompass in your knowledge?" 68 He said: Allah willing, thou shalt find me patient and I shall not in aught gainsay thee. 69 "If you must follow me," he said, "do not ask me any thing until I speak of it to you myself." 70
