When Moses said to his (assisting) youth: 'I will not give up until I reach the point where the two seas meet even though I should go on for many years' 60 When they reached the confluence they forgot the fish (they had brought as food) which swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 So when they had gone beyond that place, Moosa said to his assistant, “Bring our breakfast – we have indeed faced great exertion in this journey of ours.” 62 He replied: 'What do you think, I forgot the fish when we were resting on the rock. None but satan made me forget to mention this; it made its way into the sea in a marvelous fashion' 63 Moses said: "But that is exactly what we were seeking." So they retraced their steps. 64 Then they found one from among Our servants whom We had granted mercy from Us and whom We had taught knowledge from Ourselves. 65 Musa (Moses) said to him (Khidr) "May I follow you so that you teach me something of that knowledge (guidance and true path) which you have been taught (by Allah)?" 66 He replied, "You will not be able to have patience with me. 67 And how can you have patience for what you do not encompass in knowledge?" 68 He said: If Allah pleases, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey you in any matter. 69 The other said: "If then thou wouldst follow me, ask me no questions about anything until I myself speak to thee concerning it." 70

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
