And recite in the Book the account of Moses. He was a chosen one, a Messenger, a Prophet. 51 And We cried unto him from the right side of the mount, and We drew him nigh for whispering. 52 And We gave to him out of Our mercy his brother Haroun a prophet. 53 Also mention in the Book (the story of) Isma'il: He was (strictly) true to what he promised, and he was a messenger (and) a prophet. 54 He used to enjoin on his people Prayer and Charity, and he was most acceptable in the sight of his Lord. 55 And remember Idrees in the Book; he was indeed very truthful, a Prophet. 56 We raised him up to a high place. 57 Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah did bestow His Grace,- of the posterity of Adam, and of those who We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Abraham and Israel of those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the Signs of (Allah) Most Gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears. ۩ 58 ۞ But the generation that succeeded them wasted their prayers and followed their desires, so they shall encounter error 59 except he who repents and believes and does good works; those shall be admitted to Paradise and shall not be wronged in any way. 60 [Therein are] gardens of perpetual residence which the Most Merciful has promised His servants in the unseen. Indeed, His promise has ever been coming. 61 They will not hear any lewd talk in it, but only Peace; and in it for them is sustenance, every morning and evening. 62 It is the Paradise that We will bequeath to those among Our bondmen who remain pious. 63 [Gabriel said], "And we [angels] descend not except by the order of your Lord. To Him belongs that before us and that behind us and what is in between. And never is your Lord forgetful - 64 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them! Worship, then, Him alone, and remain steadfast in His worship! Dost thou know any whose name is worthy to be mentioned side by side with His?" 65
