WITH ALL THIS, man [often] says, "What! Once I am dead, shall I again be brought forth alive?" 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 for, indeed, We know best as to which of them is most deserving of the fires of hell. 70 There is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. 71 Then We shall save those who feared God, but the wrongdoers shall be left there on their knees. 72 When Our lucid revelations are read out to them, the infidels say to those who believe: "Which of the two groups is better in standing, and whose company is more excellent?" 73 How numerous are the peoples We destroyed before them - those that were more resourceful and grander in outward appearance! 74 Say: "The Most Compassionate Lord grants respite to those who stray into error, until they behold what they had been threatened with, either God's chastisement (in the world) or the Hour (of Resurrection)" - then they fully know whose station is worse, and who is weaker in hosts! 75 And Allah will increase the guidance for those who have received guidance; and good deeds that remain have the best reward before your Lord, and the best outcome. 76 Have you seen him who disbelieved in Our Ayat (this Quran and Muhammad SAW) and (yet) says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children [if I will be alive (again)]," 77 Hath he perused the Unseen, or hath he made a pact with the Beneficent? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall add and add to his punishment. 79 and We shall inherit all the resources and hosts of which he boasts, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 And they have taken gods beside Allah that they might be unto them a glory. 81 No! Those "gods" will deny their worship of them and will be against them opponents [on the Day of Judgement]. 82
