And man saith: when I am daed, Shall I be presently brought forth alive. 66 Doth not man remember that We created him before, when he was naught? 67 And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 And certainly We know best those who are most worthy of being burned therein. 70 There is not one among you who will not reach it. Your Lord has made this incumbent on Himself. 71 And We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees. 72 And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Which of the two parties is best in abiding and best in assembly? 73 How numerous are the peoples We destroyed before them - those that were more resourceful and grander in outward appearance! 74 Say: "If any men go astray, (Allah) Most Gracious extends (the rope) to them, until, when they see the warning of Allah (being fulfilled) - either in punishment or in (the approach of) the Hour,- they will at length realise who is worst in position, and (who) weakest in forces! 75 God increases His guidance to those who follow guidance; and lasting good works are better in the sight of your Lord and are most rewarding. 76 Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 Indeed not. We shall record what he says and shall prolong the punishment for him. 79 To Us shall return all that he talks of and he shall appear before Us bare and alone. 80 And they have taken gods beside Allah that they might be unto them a glory. 81 In fact, they can have no honor; their gods will renounce their worship of idols and will turn against them. 82
