The human says: 'What, when I am dead, shall I be raised to life?' 66 But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will bring them back to life with satan and gather them around hell in large groups. 68 Then We shall pluck forth from every party whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the All-merciful; 69 Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein. 70 And every one of you will come within sight of it: this is, with thy Sustainer, a decree that must be fulfilled. 71 Then We shall deliver those who have feared, and shall have the wrong-doers therein kneeling. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to those who deny the Truth they are wont to say to those who have faith: "Which of the two groups has a better status and whose assemblies are grander?" 73 How many generations of greater prosperity and splendor have We destroyed before them? 74 Say: "If any men go astray, (Allah) Most Gracious extends (the rope) to them, until, when they see the warning of Allah (being fulfilled) - either in punishment or in (the approach of) the Hour,- they will at length realise who is worst in position, and (who) weakest in forces! 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Note the words of the disbeliever, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he penetrated to the Unseen, or has he taken a contract with (Allah) Most Gracious? 78 No, indeed! We shall assuredly write down all that he says, and We shall prolong for him the chastisement; 79 and We shall inherit all the resources and hosts of which he boasts, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 And they have taken gods, other than Allah, that they might be a power from them. 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
