And man (the disbeliever) says: "When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord! We will most certainly gather them together and the Shaitans, then shall We certainly cause them to be present round hell on their knees. 68 Then We shall carry off from every group those who were most stubborn in their opposition to the Gracious One, 69 for, indeed, We know best as to which of them is most deserving of the fires of hell. 70 And every one of you will come within sight of it: this is, with thy Sustainer, a decree that must be fulfilled. 71 Then We shall save those who feared God, but the wrongdoers shall be left there on their knees. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 And yet, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [people] who surpassed them in material power and in outward show! 74 Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army. 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Hast thou observed him who disbelieveth in Our signs and saith: surely I shall be vouchsafed riches and children. 77 Has he peeped into the Unknown, or obtained a promise from Ar-Rahman? 78 By no means! We write down what he says, and We will lengthen to him the length of the chastisement 79 We shall inherit all that he boasts of, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 And they have taken gods besides Allah, that they should be to them a source of strength; 81 But they shall reject their worship and turn against them. 82
