Yet man says: "When I am dead, will I come to life again?" 66 Doth not man remember that We created him before, when he was naught? 67 So by your Lord, surely, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Shayatin (devils) (with them), then We shall bring them round Hell on their knees. 68 Then shall We certainly drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against (Allah) Most Gracious. 69 for, indeed, We know best as to which of them is most deserving of the fires of hell. 70 and there is not one of you but shall pass through it: a decree from your Lord which must be fulfilled. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 And when Our manifest revelations are rehearsed unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: which of the two portions is better in station and goodlier in company? 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance? 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 "And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return." 76 Have you seen him who rejected Our signs and said: "Surely I shall continue to be favoured with riches and children." 77 Has he peeped into the Unknown, or obtained a promise from Ar-Rahman? 78 Absolutely not, We will record his words and prolong his punishment. 79 To Us shall return all that he talks of and he shall appear before Us bare and alone. 80 They have taken other deities besides God, so that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worshipping them, and they shall be adversaries to them. 82
